Installing back track r3 on VMware

 At first you have to download following stuffs

1   Download backtrack ISO from here

2   Download VMware Workstation or  VMplayer
  
Now follow the following steps
1     Install VMware 
2     Create  a new Virtual Machine

3     Choose ISO file downloaded above
4     Choose Linux as guest operating system and ubuntu as version
5     Name & locate where you want safe the Installation files
6     Specify virtual hard disk space (20 GB Recommended)
7     Click on finish  Button
8     Switch on the virtual machine 
9     Wait until virtual machine boots up.......
10    Hit Enter on 'Default Boot Text Mood' option when Virtual machine boots up
11    Type "startx"  to start GUI Mood
12    Click on Install Backtrack icon OR Open terminal and type sh-c " ubiquity"
           
       and continue like a normal installation choose keyboard type provide location info clock as required.
       It will take  at least 45 minutes depending on your system speed...........
       After Installation your default user will be root and password will be toor
